Cancer Treatment LinksNational Cancer Institute LinksThe following links are designed to put you right where you need to be on the National Cancer Institute's website. The cancer treatment options listed on the NCI website are roughly broken down between information for health care professionals, and information for patients. Try to read both. The good thing about this site is that you can see for yourself what the latest "Standard of Care." is for your particular cancer. What this means is that the oncology community has agreed on a treatment protocol depending on your cancer and it's stage. Because it is standard of care, your insurance will probably pay for it. It is important to understand that the data is biased towards the traditional community in which it is hopelessly intertwined both philosophically and financially. Don't expect accolades for non-traditional therapies. Don't expect to find good information on combining traditional and non-traditional medicine. I'll link to those elsewhere in the near future. Below is just a beginning, I'll be adding more links shortly.
